Terms of service

Plain terms for using DoodleNotes. By creating an account or making notes you agree to them.

Who we are

DoodleNotes (doodlenotes.art) is run by Vinod Sharma in Sanford, Florida, USA. You can reach us at [email protected].

What DoodleNotes does

You type a topic. DoodleNotes writes two pages of study notes about it and draws them as one image of an open notebook, which you can download, print and share. The writing and the drawing are done by AI models.

Your account

You need an account to make notes. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or have a parent or teacher manage the account for you.

Free notes and credits

Every account gets 3 free notes. After that, each note costs one credit. Credits come in packs that you buy once; they never expire and there is no subscription.

  • One credit makes one note. A note that fails to generate does not cost a credit.
  • Credits belong to the account that bought them and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, except as described in our refund policy.
  • Prices are shown on the pricing page and include any sales tax, VAT or GST.

Payments are processed by Stripe

Credit packs are sold through Link, a service of Stripe. For these purchases Stripe is the merchant of record: Stripe charges your payment method, collects and remits any sales tax, VAT or GST, sends your receipt, and handles payment support, refunds and disputes. Your card or bank statement shows the purchase as LINK.COM* DOODLENOTES. Stripe's own terms for purchases sold through Link apply alongside these terms. We never see or store your card number.

Refunds

You can ask for a refund of a credit pack within 14 days of buying it, as long as none of its credits have been used. The details are in our refund policy.

The topics you enter and the notes you get

The notes are written and drawn by AI, so please read them with that in mind.

  • You are responsible for the topics you enter and for how you use the notes. Do not enter anything you do not have the right to use, and do not use DoodleNotes to make content that is unlawful, hateful or harmful.
  • We do not guarantee that the notes are accurate, complete or suitable for any purpose. Check facts before you rely on them, especially for exams, medical, legal or financial topics.
  • You may use the notes you make for personal, classroom and commercial purposes. We keep a non-exclusive right to show them in the gallery and on the site, as described below.

Public notes and the gallery

Every note gets a public page at a link of its own, and finished notes appear in the community gallery with their topic. Do not enter personal details or private information as a topic. If you want a note removed from the gallery or from the site, write to us.

Acceptable use

  • Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, or use scripts to make notes in bulk.
  • Do not resell access to DoodleNotes or present its output as made by a person when that matters to the reader.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Unused credits on a closed account are refunded unless the account was closed for abuse.

Copyright complaints

If you believe a note on DoodleNotes infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the link to the note, a description of the work you own, and your contact details. We review every complaint and remove infringing notes.

Our liability

DoodleNotes is provided as is. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we are not liable for losses that come from using the notes or from the service being unavailable. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes and important changes are announced on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
